Congratulations Zeba Khan, Killam Doctoral Scholarship winner!

Congratulations to incoming PhD student Zeba Khan, who was awarded the prestigious Killam Doctoral Scholarship! We are very excited for you to continue your research in the WACH program.

Zeba’s research project is: “Using knowledge translation interventions to enhance contraception access: Advancing the Storytelling about Options and Reproductive access for Youth (STORY) Project.” She will be supervised by Dr. Sarah Munro.

The UBC Killam Doctoral Scholarships are provided annually from the Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Fund for Advanced Studies. It was Mrs. Killam’s desire that those selected to receive scholarships: “Be likely to contribute to the advancement of learning or to win distinction in a profession. A Killam scholar should not be a one-sided person… Special distinction of intellect should be founded upon sound character.”

Killam Doctoral Scholarships are offered to the top doctoral candidates in the Affiliated Fellowships competition. View details on this competition here, and stayed tuned for updates and reminders from @ubcWACH.
